So, who are you to say that:

...That I was not saved?!

That all religion is filled with empty lies?

That everything I've ever believed in is wrong?

"Doug, you say the same to us."

no. I say, Jesus loves you still. Nothing more, nothing less.

----------------------
You didn't get "saved" when you were 15, your community/family just let you in on their little cult. It makes you feel part of the group...
It sounds like your family had church and religion around YOU since day 1.
--------------------

ARE YOU KIDDING?

WHO ARE YOU TO SAY I DID NOT RECIEVE SALVATION?!?!

calm down...

ok...

Explain to me:

HOW can many Athiests so boldly claim there there is no heaven, hell, God, Satan, angels, demons, etc...
And yet, I am scorned for boldly saying those DO exsist?

You can't prove a negative in logic, right?
Clarify your motives, folks.

It hurts so much to see people on thier way to a place that I was saved from

Are you enjoying talking to yourself?

If you're not listening, this was never intended for you to read. There's other sections for sarcasm.

well put, i think i can answer that, some people are so adament in their (false) beliefs such as evolution, atheism etc. that they will not admit they are wrong despite overwhelming evidence otherwise. my teacher presents evolution as fact despite the evidence against it, not to mention its not really science, its historical science, not observable or testable, both are required for it to be a "theory"

Nonbelief in incredible things is the rational default. If I described to you the deeds of the Invisible Pink Unicorn and insisted that all should pay homage to her, and assured you that she loved you and looked after you, I'm sure you'd be skeptical until I proferred some kind of proof of her existence.

In this case it would not be a bold claim for you to tell me that there is no such thing as an Invisible Pink Unicorn. It would be expected. Until some sort of evidence shows up, I would hope you would maintain a healthy disbelief in such wild claims.

The same reasoning applies both to your devil and your god. It's an incredible claim that has no proof to back it up. I'd be gullible if I simply took you at your word that they did exist. Therefore, not such a bold statement to deny that they do.

"Doug's a little bit confused"

speaking about yourself in the 3rd person.

"calm down..."

talking to yourself too. In a question field you can edit before posting, no less.

you seem like a really nice guy and all, you just don't seem very stable.

Get away from Yahoo!Answers, open Bible gateway, check your favorite verses, meditate. Then go to an apologetics site(s) and infidels.org, then observe and compare arguments/discussions on the forums. I'm pretty sure you'll see the truth, Jesus always prevails.

I think it's true, if one isn't talking with God then the inner dialog is with oneself. He is open to the slightest beginning of the cry of repentance, to the first, smallest acknowledgement from an unbelieving child.

Poor delusional Doug dear,
God is not outside or separate,
it is not a He or She entity.
The only place you can find it,
Is within yourself and everything else in the Universe.
You need no fairy-tale book, no "savior",
Only to look within and see that WE are ALL God!
Blessed Be... ; )
