we just stop talking all of the sudden since 2005 i have been single i miss him. help me

Do you have common friends? Check out whether he is still single.
If he is available, U still have his no? Maybe call him to wish him a happy new year. And start off as friends 1st.
If he is still interested to get back together, you'll noe!

The first thing you need to do is find out why you just stopped talking, I understand that you miss him, but if he stopped talking to you because he was seeing someone else while he was seeing you then he is not worth your time.
