Sounds like maybe you broke it. You might want to go to a doctor if it doesn't get better.

The reason it hurts when you move is because the nose has a lot of blood supply. So when you move, or get up, your blood pressure changes a bit, causing the blood supply in your nose to increase, shift, or decrease. The tissues in your nose are likely very, very swollen and sensitive right now to any changes in blood pressure. If you've fracture the cartilage or bone, it only magnifies the effect. Ice it for 10 minutes, off for 10 minutes, back on for 10. Do that every now and then. Take ibuprofen, but not aspirin. If it isn't feeling better by tomorrow, see a doctor. If you've broken it, you'll want a doctor to make sure there are no fragments and that the break won't interfere with your breathing and your sinuses' ability to stay open and fight infection.

you may have broken the join between the nose cartilage and the skull. if it is straight I wouldnt worry, but if it is bent I would suggest a doctors advise. they will stay bent, or get bent easy when in this state, so be careful sleeping. mine has a slight bend from a knee to the face. I got my teeth looked at but not my nose.
go see your doctor. you wont need the hospital for that one.
expect to see slight black eyes tomorrow, as the blood moves out from the nose area.

Great advice from at least two folks.... Ibuprophen (good job), ice (good job), tilt your head back (ARGH, don't do that). See a doctor, they may need to set it... might hurt just a bit but that is only temporary. Its been damaged it is going to hurt so be gentle for a bit.
Best of luck.

Just don't touch it, and get some rest. Rest heals wounds, and I'm sure he fractured or bruised the bone in your nose.

if you have good medical insurance, go tot he doctor
Otherwise, pack it in ice and see how it looks tomorrow. If swollen and your eyes black, best you get it checked out and reset if out of whack.
