I don't think running away is ever the answer. Wait till you are 18. If you guys are meant to be together, then you will. Time and growing up changes a lot of things. You guys might grow together or you might grow apart. Don't risk severing ties with your family over something that can wait.

Well, when a teenager feels that way it is because they feel they have no love at home, which is pretty sad, but it happens. What is sadder is that in their blindness they run off into the dark with someone they know little about, and more problems become of that.
The teenager will eventually go back home to a very sad family who will miss him/her. If the teenage has a dog or cat they will sorely miss that person. It just isn't worth running away. The teen should talk to his/her family and try to find something else to love so much that this person doesn't have his/her every moment contemplating this. Play the guitar, paint a picture, learn photograpy, computer, pick up skills needed for a future job. One should use their young mind for greatness without a partner to bring them down the wrong path. Oh, yes, If I had a teenager, I would be so sad that he/she didn't talk to me about what was eating them up inside. One should not waste time on doing anything that doesn't mentally inspire them and at this age a person who one has to run away with doesn't sound like a really nice person who would want one to do that.

It would be a tough life. There are so many responsibilities that would fall upon you if this were the case. Finding a place to stay, money and also losing the support system you've known your whole life- your family and friends. It's a whole new adjustment to a new environment and way of living. I believe that as a teenager life should be care free. If it's true love, it will last. But the time to be care free & live without the hassle of such great responsibilities, is a chance once lost, can never be gained.

Your question is not clear. Are you asking what would happen to a teenager who ran away from home because he/she was in love with someone and parents wouldn't allow you to see each other?

If you were my child, you would be grounded for a good long time.

Your parents have the right to call the police for help in finding you. Your parents have the right to block your using the computer, the telephone, watching the television, and going anywhere but to school.

You have no rights. If I were you, I would stay home until grown and then make a decision about the "loved" one.

Ultimately the teen might regret that decision. Being with the person you love is one thing, but you also need to have the financial security to be able to support each other. You can't survive on love alone.

I just hope that teen love lasts with the other person,or they probably will regret things.Always think things out before taking action, but if they think it was woth it now,and will in the future, hope everything works out

i don't think you are explaining yourself clearly
are you trying to say that a teen has ran away from home because he/her is in love with someone..that they are not allowed to date because of their parents??
that's the most logical thing i can come up with...please explain yourself in the additional notes section
