Just try not to think about anything. Consentrate on your breathing. Feel yourself breath and if thoughts come into your mind, just let them go. A quiet room without any distractions is good.

Meditation is the best way to relieve all STRESS. It is simple and easy and it will clear your mind and soul. Get a book or look up meditation on the net to find out how to do it. You are basically concentrating on one thing and ridding your mind of any other thoughts. To start out it may be best to buy a meditation tape. Get comfortable and listen and just do what it states. When you are done in 10-20 minutes you will feel lighter and more in control. Try it, it works.

for starer there not a wrong way to meditate. I would recommend getting a CD to start with. What I do is clear my mind and pay attention to my breathing, then when thoughts come into my head i picture them as letter with legs and push them out my mind and close door and lock it and then i start back to breathing. if that does not work count down from a 100 very slowly. Number have no meaning so they trigger to think. There are people out there picture a safe place but i find that hard for me because me thought wonder. It will be hard at first but after a while it will become 2nd nature. You'll so be shocked how well and wake you feel after word.

The easiest way to start is to find a nice, relaxing quiet room. Sit comfortably, or lay on your back (This is usually not recommended because folks tend to just fall asleep).
Concentrate on your breathing. If you find your mind wandering (and it will) just say out loud or in your head "breathe in, breathe out" with each breath.
You may find it difficult in the beginning. Just be patient, and remain still for a while. Eventually you'll calm down, clear your mind, and be on your way.

Just relax and breathe in nose , deep breathes, feel stomach move as u breath. inhale deep and exhale out of mouth
The "M" thing is natural to do to to relieve stress.

Focus on one word like OM or your breath and then keep repeating it. Try to ignore thoughts that keep coming to you. Your breath is the most important.
