I'm a pretty much slim guy, work-out three times a week but can not get rid of the fat in my stomach and chest.

it is physiologically impossible to cause localized fat loss through exercise.

there are several drugs that can do it but they are very expensive and you have to perform daily intramuscular injections. HGH can do it but even using only 2-4 iu's/day 5 days a week for 2 months it would run you over $1,500.

You have to do cardio to truly get 6 pack abs to show (if thats what you are looking for). 3 Days a week of interval training (5 min at 30-40% of your max, then 30 seconds of 90% followed by 60 seconds at 50%. Alternate these 5-7 times or as many as your body can handle to start, then finish with 5 minutes at 30-40% again).

Try stomach crunches - sit ups for your stomach & Push-ups for your chest.

If it still does not work, maybe you should start looking for an instructor to help you.
