For the life of me, I cannot figure why you or anyone else might think there's a connection between lemon juice in the eyes and allergy control. This is absurd!

WOW, that pain would be horrible. I have done it once accidently while squeezing my lemon in my drink and it burned like hell. I would just say take some allergy medicine. Claritin is available over the counter. The only time I have ever seen any one willingly put lemon juice in their eye was when these crazy Brits did Ruby shots in my bar one night.

Yes, undoubtably yes. If you forgot to ask the Dr. who treated you for the burning in your eye about your allergies, you would recall it everytime someone suggested an off the wall home cure.
My bet is that sooner, rather than later, you would see a specialist about your allergies.
Lemon Juice? You may want to reconsider your relationship with whatever "friend" suggested that one!

That is gonna burn your eye like hell. I accidently squirted lemon and orange in my eye as a kid. It burns so much it seems like it burns forever and it takes time to open your eye and wash it out. Try something else.

Is that like if your thumb hurts slam your leg in a car door, so your thumb will feel better because your leg is worse?
Your eye would burn and you would not worry about allergies.

Never heard of that one, but certainly couldn't recommend it. Try Visine for allergies (Visine A.C.) instead, the Visine worked for me.

All I can do is add to the choir...Don't do it!!!! I'm not sure where you heard about this, but it is an "old wives tale" that I've haven't heard in years.
It is kind of like taking someone "snipe hunting"...
