The problem is that today's scientific "fact" is frequently tomorrow's discarded theory. People jump on the bandwagon whenever someone makes a so-called major discovery, and they do a big disappearing act when that particular study is discovered to have flaws or been biased.
When a scientific fact survives for a hundred years or so, I'm willing to consider it as proven. But physics continually makes new discoveries that challenge even the basic assumptions we've held about our universe.
Science is a way of exploring possibilities. . .not a set of immutable laws. The only time science is "bad" is when it refuses to admit that it made a mistake or that it isn't the be-all, end-all explanation of the universe.

just bad understanding of the bible and how scientific discoveries relate to it.
Analogies and metaphors and a big-picture guidelines in the bible aren't necessarily meant to be simple explicit facts; and in science, there is a lot that is still just theory, and inferences based on assumptions.
"Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater !"
in both Bible and science ! Take the best of both worlds and don't fret the rest. Don't waste time fighting or enforcing ignorance of either one.

There is lots of bad science like Haekel's embryos and other frauds. Haekel's embryos were revealed as frauds within 5 years of his release of them (late 1890's) and yet were still in science text books at schools until the 1970's or later. That is why scientist try to verify so much of there studies now and are getting much better at it such as these gentlemen.
"There is no incompatibility between science and religion... Science shows that God exists." - Prof. D. Barton, Nobel Prize Chemistry
"If I had no other data than the early chapters of Genesis, some of the Psalms and other passages of Scripture, I would have arrived at essentially the same picture of the origin of the universe, as is indicated by the scientific data." Nobel Prize-winning physicist Arno Penzias (Big Bang Theorist)
"The principle of [divine] purpose ... stares the biologist in the face wherever he looks ... . The probability for such an event as the origin of DNA molecules to have occurred by sheer chance is just too small to be seriously considered ... ."Ernst Boris Chain - Nobel Prize in medicine
"So many of my colleagues are Christians that I can't walk across my church's fellowship hall without tripping over a dozen physicists."
William D. Phillips awarded the 1997 Nobel Prize in physics for using lasers to produce temperatures only a fraction of a degree above absolute zero.

The bible has remained virually unchanged for thousands of years, "science" seems to change with the slightest gust of wind. No scientific "fact" is ever really a fact, because further study almost always refines or changes it. Such as how I was taught as fact that Pluto was a planet, now they have changed this "fact" to something else. Like someone mentioned here, usually science ends up confirming the bible.

Nothing has truely contradicted the bible yet. You need to remember that a scientific fact or proven scientifically only means that their theory has not been disproven yet. Science doesn't have to prove itself it just cant be disproven.

I sometime do chanced on issues it particularly is touching on to the bible, like for those practitoners who preparation harvesting Qi or ability.for instance at the same time as Moses observed God it become God's magnificient ability that transfomed his hair into white colour and his face become sparkling like a lighted bulb and the human beings had to cover his head with a veil to confer with him.Qi or ability that the practitioner of Qigong preparation must be use for therapeutic and carry out transformation on plant boom no matter if or not they strengthen immediately or twisted.for instance Paul become hit through a dazzling mild and become blinded and later healed.the dazzling mild emitted from Jesus is organic ability it particularly is previous our mind's eye and it ought to blind or heal clone of Paul case. Practitioner who makes use of Qi or ability on the prompt to heal is way less useful and magnificient as analyze to God's organic magnificient and all useful ability it particularly is previous our mind's eye an understanding.also at the same time as God create guy.God say shall we create guy in our image and the picture is organic ability which we now own and its make up of billion of proton, electron and others debris.each medical invention or introduction are all touching on to the bible.with out the bible there is not any introduction or discoveries.it is only a void and darkish formless international which we gained't exist.

How can someone claim that all knowledge of "sacred" truths have been completed? I seriously doubt that the authors of the bible knew more about the world back then than we do today. That is why they invented religion. It was easier to explain that the universe was created by something, instead of what science shows us about the universe and life.

If it contradicts the bible, only 3 conclusions are possible:
1. The science is a hoax.
2. The Bible has been changed.
3. Your understanding of the Bible is incorrect.

Most real science confirms the Bible. See here: http://everystudent.com/forum/science.ht...
More resources: Creation Resource Foundation: www.creationresource.org
Great scientists like Johannes KEPLER saw God's magnificance and constantly gave praise to God Almighty for his wonderful laws built into nature. He was a creationist.
So was Isaac NEWTON.......and he wrote 1 million words about his LITERAL belief in the Scripture. He was a creationist.
" I have a fundamental belief in the Word of God....I study the Bible daily". - Isaac Newton
