It's totally fine, all things being equal, but as with co-workers and family friends, there's a good key rule: is whatever you might get in this potential relationship worth how horribly awkward it would be (not to mention the potential loss of a good friendship) living next door if things go bad? If the answer is no, chalk it up to right guy/girl, wrong time and don't risk it.

It's risky. If and when you break up it will be extra hard to deal with since you live so close. Then when you date other people your neighbor may stalk you or snoop in your business or get in your face when you come and go (or you could do those things to them).

You might want to think about it if ur parents are good friends, especially if he'll tell his parents everything because then it will get relayed and ur parents will find out everything

if you like him yea...but make sure if it doesnt work out that it ends in a good way to where you can still be friends ...cuz you dont want to live next door to someone you hate or someone who hates you....it will just be a bunch of DRAMA

I don't know why not! As long as you both are mature enough to keep your friendship cordial if the romance doesn't work out...you don't want to live next to an ex-good friend! :)
