Not really too possible on an F-1. After you graduate, you can apply for an H-1B work visa and from there apply for Permanent Residency. The F-1 visa is specifically a non-immigrant visa with no dual intent. That's why during your visa interview they asked for "ties to home" to prove that you were coming back. H-1B is one of the few visas that you can have "dual intent" of wanting citizenship to the US. However, you're not eligible for it until you have at least a bachelor's, so finish school!

i KNOW that if u came here on a permanent visa, that u have to be a resident for five years to become a citizen.
not too sure about an f1 visa. u need to call your local immigration office and ask, or just pop down there, and ask the front desk
