Is it better to know how many women my boyfriend has had before or it is not worth it? I've asked from him many times but he thinks I'd rather not to know about it...

Ask yourself this, would you tell him, truthfully, how many you had b4 him? And really, unless you have had symptoms of something, does it matter? Why drive yourself crazy wondering the what if's...what if she was better, what if she was prettier...so forth and so forth. That will only bring on second guessings and then resentment or comparisons. Its not fair to you, him or your future in the relationship. Just be grateful that you have him now, other wise, you could end up losing him and being one of his many exs instead of the here and now.

Well .. I don't think that's the right question.. It's not how many girlfriends he has had.. but rather how many women he has been with.. If you sleep with him he may have some std from some other 1 night hook up..

when you sleep with him you are sleeping with every one he has been with..

I remember the movie clerks.. the girl had sex with 3 men.. but had given blowjobs to A LOT!! so it stands to reason.. the guy might have only had a few girlfriends but a LOT of sex..

I would ask a lot of questions.. and can you handle the truth?? would you be offended if he dragged you to Planned parenthood and had you tested for STD's and Aids?? If I loved my girl and Knew I was clean I would not have a problem with it.. so if he is clean Neither should he! But it is delicate ground it is easy to get into a real fight over it.. I don't like the shady answer he gives you though..

I think that things like that are better left unsaid. Whats the point - he can't change how many people he's slept with and if it's a big amount you will get cranky and jelous and won't be able to stop thinking about it. He's with you now and thats all that matters. It dosn't mean anything anyway - I used to be a real little floosey. But as soon as I met my boyfriend that was it - now we have 2 children and I would never betray him- those days are gone. So just let him be it's not going to change your life for the better is it?

Depends on your personality more than anything. Think it through. Do you really want to know? If he throws a number out, is that number going to drive you crazy, and leave you wanting more info? Or are you the type that would rather know, no matter what it is? Once he tells you, or tells you to forget it - he's not spilling, can you move on? Would a high number freak you out and make you insecure? If he knows you, and tells you that you'd rather not know, maybe he's right. Besides... you're the one he's with now. But you might want to find out how many exes he's cheated on. :-)

No it's not all that important unless one of them had an STD, HIV or HPV. other than that what he did in his past is just that HIS past. If you want a guy who has never been out with a female before I suggest you hang around your mom/grandmother and see if any of their friends have sons still living in their basements...or better yet hang around the maternity ward of a hospital, I'm sure you'll find a guy who has never been involved before there.

Don't ask.

Presume that all your new loves have a past.
The cool thing is, it's their past. You win. If
the past was All That and a Bag of Doritos,
your new love would be with their past love.

Only I could mix Doritos and love. I have
the munchies.

Also: One day you'll have a higher number than
you do now. Maybe one that makes you uncomfortable
discussing. You're more than statistics, and so is
your BF.

P.S. If his name is Orenthal James Simpson, it's okay to dump him.

I think what is more important is that he and you are both disease free. The past is a learning experience, if you both have learned valuable lessons what difference does the number make. Focus on a healthy, mature and mutually rewarding present and future, you'll be much happier.

I don't believe that it is extremely important to know how many and who he's been with because it might cause some jealousy issues in your relationship, but you do need to make sure he hasn't been with the whole freakin town if you know what I mean.
