My son wants to make one as a science fair project. Many examples on the web, but no explanations as to why the thing works.

There is currently 2 wind turbines on each hovercraft

One horizontal that pushes the hovecraft so it can go foreward. Steering is made sending this air to the left or the right

The second one pushes the air vertically in a big rubber tube underneith the hovercraft that create a lift and make the unit floats/able to move.
