NEVER put ground coffee in the fridge. The moisture from a refridgerator is very bad for the coffee and ruins it quickly and actually makes it taste like a fridge.
If you bought coffee in bulk, it is possible to store it in a freezer as long as it is unopened. Usually coffee in a freezer stays good for around two weeks.
Once you open coffee, you need to store it in an air-tight container in a cool, dry, and dark place (like a pantry) in order to keep the flavor last much longer. Remember, don't put it back in the freezer!

Dear Fellow Coffee Drinker:
I found that the best way, at least for me, to save the smell and flavor of the coffee is to store it in a glass jar with a vacuum seal. This prevents the aroma from being wasted on the air and saves you from needing to purchase more. You can also get a coffee grinder and make your own freshly brewed beverage.

We had the A&P's too, however the grinding machines have been at each and each checkout. We constantly vied for the "honor" of being the only which floor the espresso whilst mom finished the finding out! enjoyed the scent... constantly have, constantly will... of espresso grounds. yet, strangly, I in no way loved the flavour and don't drink espresso. at present, as quickly as I save, I delight in going handed the espresso grinders contained in the espresso aisle, so i will scent that superb scent lower back. Heck, i might desire to snicker the grounds, yet hate the flavor! Have a pro day!

Store your coffee in an airtight, dark container (or one that doesn't let any light in) in a dry, cool area. In the refrigerator isn't necessary.
But, to have fresher coffee, order green coffee beans and roast them yourself at home. The best!! :)

Buy only enough for 2 weeks at a time. Store in an airtight stainless steel container, in a cool cupboard.
Definitely, do not store in fridge and DO NOT freeze.

Just buy smaller amounts and drink more. Then you don't have to worry about it going bad or losing it's flavor. Check out these interesting coffee facts on this site.
