No, I think they are highly intelligent. You seem to have a problem with acceptance of other theories. Those who are not able to accept that someone else may have an idea of life are those that i look down on as narrow-minded and not open to thought.

It isn't that anyone thinks you are stupid, even though some might.
It is the fact that we believe there is a power greater than man capable of making it appear as though everything has been here for billions of years. Why can't you accept that it might have been necessary to create things in just such a manner to keep everything working the way it needed to so that you could be born and have the life you have been blessed with?

I know that God has existed forever. I don't know what He did before He created our universe, and I don't know how many other solar systems have (or have had) life that He made. I am not so proud as to assume we are the only thing He has done - maybe so, but maybe not. I also am not convinced that He created all of this in 6 literal 24 hour days. A day to Him is as a thousand years, as it is said in the Bible.

you summed it up nicely, thank you!
only fools believe such utter nonsense!
It would take me about 7 days to drive from ca to pa. Does that mean that it took God a week to create the united states? or did it take a week for the united states to evolve?
Stop trying to measure how old the universe is by how far away the planets and stars are. But on the up side, your theory validates what I know to be true, God created the Heavens and the Earth!

Well, that hare-brained theory (that's a smart rabbit theory, ain't it) was devised by a Roman Catholic Priest who happens to be a physcist and predicted we'd find Gamma Radiation in the far background which they did, 40 years after his prediction.
He's in good standing with the Catholic Church, too!

No, I don't think they are stupid. Most of them are very intelligent people. The people I think are stupid are the ones that are so closed minded that they can't comprehend that not everyone will believe the same thing you do. If that's what they want to believe, so be it. Who knows, they may be right.

no but I think you are unfamiliar with the problems of the age of the universe such as the horizon problem
and me thinks you are unfarmiliar with some of the newer ideas such as Starlight and Time of ROss HUmphreys where time runs faster toward the edge of a finite universe and slower in the center where we are because we are in a gravity well

Nope. Usually you will find that those that disregard cosmology/astrophysics/geological process etc do so because of sever lack of understanding of basic scientific fundamentals and also intrest in the subject.
