Accutane is usually an acne cure of last resort. Accutane is version of vitamin A that dries up the oil pores on your face. It will keep your from producing oil on your face which will help get rid of your acne. It is usually used after everything else failed because of some nasty side effects. It will not only cause your face to dry out it can cause dry mouth like you wouldn't beleive. Its also a pain to get know b/c you have to get registerd and if you're a female you have to get a preg. test every month and you have to see the MD every month for a refill. But if you have bad acne it can really change your complexion for the better. Hope this helps.

Accutane breaks the cycle of bad acne, but taking it doesn't prevent you from getting any kind of pimple ever again.
