You could definitely plan a wedding in a month. The question is will it be the wedding of your dreams? If you are not filled with visions of your perfect wedding and are not expecting too much you can do it. The first thing you need to do is find a place that will host your special day. A lot of function halls have it catered for you, they even have center pieces. Next make your invitations, Kinko's can run copies on frosted paper and you could go to the craft store for special background paper. Now all you need is to find a dress ask about floor model dresses. (The dresses people try on and then the store orders the dress brand new.) Or don't say its a wedding dress and look a some prom dresses I have seen lots of dresses that are not :wedding dresses" but look it. Good Luck! And congratulations!

You need to identify what you want and if its doable in less than two months. Why do you want it to be so soon? It's ok to let it happen in 6 months or a year. Theres nothing wrong with a long engagement. It can be very enjoyable! If you really want it fast and now then consider Vegas! My husband and I eloped to las vegas after 6 months of engagement...I couldn't take all the wedding planning. We got married at the Vive Las Vegas wedding chapel. They were fantastic! I highly reccomend them. The preacher was great, the limo was clean, and the staff was extremely professional. It was easy to apply for a license and my photos came out fantastic. It was definitely not the cheesy image I had imagined Vegas to be. Congratulations and lots of luck to you!

It's very much doable! I'm doing to same thing. Me and my fiance are planning to get married in March also. The only difference is we have been engaged for about a year and a half now so I have already planned somethings out but not enough. My mom is helping me out alot. I don't think I could do it alone so you may need some help. Maybe get your mom or his mom to help out with things. They may know ways to get things done faster then you could. I went out and bought a wedding planner and it helps so much. If you have the money to spend on one, I would get it. They help so much, they give you tips on things and go step by step. Good Luck and I hope it works out for you!

Decide how much you want to spend, then get a wedding planning book from the book store geared to that level of spending.
Find out if some of your good friends and close family members are willing and have the time to help you out with planning your wedding. If they are willing to help and have the time, then get them together for a brainstorming session, and let them help you.
If they're too busy, ask around for references and hire a wedding planner.
If it's all just too much, remember that you can always just elope, or have a simple ceremony with just immediate family, and then have a post-wedding party later if you still want it.
Try to choose the option that will honestly make you and your husband-to-be happiest - remember, a wedding is really just a ceremony to celebrate the beginning of your marriage. It's the marriage itself that's really important.
Congratulations!

The best suggestion I have for you is to go to a bookstore or library and get a wedding planner book. These books take you step by step through the process of planning a wedding. Though the book goes by month, you could still use it to plan a wedding in a short period of time, seeing as how everything you need to accomplish is layed out for you. Good luck!

I had 44 days to help my friend plan hers......10 days into it dhe was overwhelmed and on the verge of a breakdown! I stepped in and made all the arrangements. I would call her on the phone and go..these are your choices...she'd chose and I'd put it in motion. It is completely doable but be prepared for the stress levels of doing it quickly and by yourself......I recommend either getting a wedding planner or a close friend that can keep after you and help out. Good Luck!!!!!

I planned my wedding in two months spent about $500. I found a chapel that did destination weddings. They took care of the marriage license and gave me ideas for the wedding location. I went to a craft store and made up some invites and favors.

If I were you, I'd start with the big things like booking an officiant, a venue for the reception, get your marriage license, order the cake and flowers, secure a photographer band/dj, and caterer, choose bridesmaids, order your dress and the bridesmaids' dresses. Go from there with the medium details like venue decoration and purchasing attendants' gifts to the small details like favors.
Congratulations and best wishes.
