i'd try it. but no matter what the theme is, if the food doesn't taste good, i'll never go back.

What does a 1930s Hollywood themed restaurant have to do with New York? I guess as much as the Hershey store does.

Sure, why not? However, some of them can be really cheesy. In Atlanta we have one that is like a knights of the round table theme. You watch "knights" joust and things like that, and all the waitresses and staff act like medieval characters. It sounds really tacky and ridiculous, but I would go if someone invited me just for the experience. I'll try anything once if it's not too painful.

So, not just old hollywood design, but menu, drinks, enterntainment as well? Yes! That's a great idea. I always look for a place that not only has great food, but entertainment options as well. Good plan!

Oh geez I would go in a heartbeat.
As long as they make the restaurant totaly filled with their theme not just a few things and not stick with it.

Absolutely! I imagine these would go well in a place like NY all the tourists. It would have to be totally outrageous and totally advertised.

Yes I think it would be really cool for someone to open up a restaraunt and do that. It sounds like a great idea!

yea, with pics of the streamlined cars and trains from that era, keep the menu simple and fresh, don't forget the "Happy and Sad" (Comedy/ Drama) faces, do it suptle like on the table clothes, "Less is more".
