I desperately want to find my father before my high school graduation. Does anyone know of any websites to find him that are free and accurate?

Even though you go in through YA Canada, YA Australia, YA UK or YA USA, all of the questions go into one big "pot" and get read by everyone in the world who speaks English. Most of the people here are in the UK and USA, but you sometimes get questions and answers from people who worry about kangaroos eating their roses.

If you live in the USA and have his SSN, the Social Security Administration will forward a letter to him. He may not have told them his address, especially if he cheats on his income tax, and even if they have an accurate address, he may not respond to the letter. If you'd like to try, write to me via my profile and I will send you the link; or call your local SSA office.

If you don't have his address and phone number, either
1) Your mother hates him and is hiding out of spite
2) She hasn't told you everything (that is, he may be a child molester, wife beater or a drug addict)
3) He doesn't want to see you.
4) None of the above

You may be setting yourself up for a huge disappointment.
