The core of the earth is molten metal and gravity ensures that it will stay that way. The earth also gets energy from the solar magnetic field. When the sun becomes a red giant in another 8-12 billion years then it will bake the earth. What is left over will shrink into a dwarf star and eventually cool, but as long as there is a significant mass the center of the leftovers will remain hot.

Hell is another matter. It has been split up in the same manner as a distributed database. The largest part is just outside Milwaukee, Wisconsin and freezes over all the time. Something even in June! Another piece is in Southwest DC and is a haunt for aging politicians. Unlike the the other parts of Hell (PoH), there is a happy hours in this one. The parking is a killer, however, ranging upwards from $45.00 a day. A notable piece is in Borat's homeland.

It's in another dimension. It won't matter if the core freezes up. The imagery of fire and brimstone are metaphors...but I do think it is a real place.

Well, I don't know.

Will it?

...Anyhow, Revelations says that at the end of days, all evil will be cast into the endless abyss, which basically can't be frozen.
