I can't decide on best answer. I'll have to let the voters do it.

Um, I suppose I shouldn't complain, given how most questions about Muslims on this site are really hateful, but, do you imagine all Muslims are identical in all of their beliefs and attitudes (except toward the methods of terrorists)?

'Cause that's just not so.

But, all thinking and feeling humans on the planet are agreed that Israel's treatment of Palestinians is vile and should stop immediately, and that the US is wrong for supporting oppressive governments and for invading Iraq.

So, yes, most Muslims agree with a lot of the complaints of a lot of the terrorists (who doesn't, I mean, torture, illegal wars, etc. are just plain wrong), while abhorring their methods.

Just like the rest of us.

As to the goals of some of the terrorists (they, too, differ, one from another) -- such as Bin Laden's goal of theocracy in the Middle East -- they are more divided (as we are about theocracy in the US, with a faction trying to impose religious law on all citizens).

Unfortunately, our invasion and mistreatment of Iraq has pretty much eliminated from power or public voice all the secularists there.

We are causing more militants and theocratics by our brutality.

The terrorists are bad. Anyone that takes the life of another human unlawfully is a bad person. I don't know why they think they are martyrs. They are taking the words of the Qu'ran out or context. I am a peace loving person, I want peace between all religions so that every human can live a long and safe life. The goals of the terrorists are BAD and the methods are REALLY BAD! We should all live in harmony with each other.

As a Muslim, i frown upon the methods of the terrorists. And in regards to their aims and goals of converting everyone to be Muslims, i believe that they should give everyone the chance to choose for themselves and not forcefully convert them. That is what Islam teaches. True Islam teaches that " there is no compulsion in religion". And besides, every religion wants to help others in the way that they see fit, by leading them to God, but the terrorists seem to have one aim which they claim to have, and one aim which is hidden in their hearts of violence.

well, consider that terrorists actions are caused by "someone else's action in the past". there's a reason for everything.

but no, i am a muslim and i don't agree with the aims nor methods of the terrorists. islam does not teach violence.
violence come from hate, hate come from oppression.

They believe in the aims and the methods, to them they are Martyrs. Do you hear any of them actually condemning what the Muslim terrorists are doing? I don't.
