I would think he only has one thing on his mind - my looks and sex! If a guy doesn't get to know who I am and what I'm about first, then he has ulterior motives. While flattering, guys can appreciate one's beauty without hitting on you.

It depends on if he is respectful or not and if he is using broken English. That's a real turn off for me. But if he is nice and sincere then as a women I would probably be able to sense it.
Are you planning on approaching someone?
If so just be yourself, be respectful, and most of all be yourself. :o)

Flattered, if he's attractive. If he is really unattractive, then I feel less attractive by the association that he thought he had a chance.

its very flattering. guys should do it. well, people should do it. if a girl walks up to you and talks to you, wouldn't you like it? even if the girl is butt ugly, its still flattering. lol
