Depends how big you want it and if you want it in color or not.

this is one that I have on the top of my back near the base of my neck it is about three inches horizontally and about one inch vertically. That one cost me about 45 bucks which isn't all that bad. It just depends on what you want to do and how big you want to take it

this one that is on my lower back is huge it doesn't look like it in the picture but it is big it is about 5 inches horizontally and about 8 inches vertically. ( that is just a guesstimate ) and that one has a ton of detail in it and that one only cost me 90 bucks. So you see both of them are very different and size and the smaller one seems like it was a bit more expensive. Shop around first and see where you can get the best deal but remember the tattoo artist sets the price depending upon the rules set in the shop i know where i live at the tattoo artists get to price the tattoos they do however which way they want. small tattoos generally start out around 40 or 50 dollars depending on the area you live in. I have a small green dragon tattoo that I only paid 70 dollars for .

The longer the name = the more time it takes = the more $.
Probably be around $45 - $100 depending on how many letters and the font style and number of colors.

I have seen at 2 tattoo shops that it is $4 per letter, with I think a 6 letter minimum. So it would probably be around $24.

my tattoo guy charges $80 for things the size of you palm. if he has to fix something then it is cheaper. the other guy in town charges like $180 so it all depends.

i got hawaii accross my back in script and it cost 300. plus tip. and it goes from the middle of each shoulder blade. well worth it. and doesnt hurt.
