i like him but i'm afraid of what ppl might think?

i like, this kid that's in like all my classes (almost) but, every1 else thinks he's SOOO stupid! but i want 2 go out with him and am afraid of him saying "no" i've been told no sooo many times! and i want 2 go out with some1 who likes me for me, not because i'm smart and can help them with their homework! what do i do?

Well, u could wait for him to ask u out, then u wouldn't have to worry about HIM telling U no. Why r u asking the boys out, anyway? If they're all telling u "no", u should take a good look at urself & try to figure out why they tell u "no". Do u think u're too smart for them? That really turns a guy off. I wouldn't care what others think, if I wanted to go out with a guy, I'd go. He may not be stupid, just shy. U could try being friends with him first, to see how he thinks, & if he's just shy. Some ppl r so shy, they appear stupid, so ur friends could be all wrong about him. Good Luck

My sister dated a guy in High School who was a potential drop out. I mean he was going nowhere. She molded that guy into a High School graduate, then an ITT (top of his class, by the way) graduate and now a loving husband and father of three boys with a family business that he runs and a newer business that she runs. Most guys can be trained to be exactly what you want them to be. They also live in a barbie dream house by the way. If you give him a chance, who knows he may end up being your prince charming. If not, it won't take you long to figure it out and move on.

Not everyone can admit they like someone who is not in the In-crowd. This is a good thing that you are not judgmental of others. Go ahead and ask him out, but do it when others are not around. For they may make it harder for you, and this guy.
I liked a guy who was shy, and very smart. Some people called him a nerd, or even made fun of him. He was good to me, and we became good friends, even after I ended it with him. Not all relationships work out, but you just got to try, and see for your self.
Like me, you will eventually find the right one for you, even if he isn't the right one for your friends. You got to live with the decision, not them.
