Would it kill you yancy liberals if we won the war in Iraq? It is common military knowledge that a increase of troops is a strategic advantage. Wo what would you think if, in, oh, a year, the state of Iraq was secure and we had a new democracy in the hellhole of the middle-east?

Hey, I realize that people from military families feel pressured to enlist, but , unlike Vietnam vets, Iraqi vets volunteered. They didnt have to be their!

It would be nice but take it from a soldier, we could have a million troops in Iraq and still fail because Iraq's own government refuses to take control of its own country. They allow militias disloyal to them go as they please, and the Imams and Clerics are buying what few police and soldiers that are loyal to the government. The PM in Iraq needs to grow some balls and disarm those that do not serve Iraq's government or we will never leave.

I do and lets just say I hate what this War is doing to them.
My close friend is coming home from Iraq, and his Son is has
to go to Iraq and they will not see each other. I know it is there
job, and someone has to do it . It just sucks, bring them home.
we are not winning anything. When you are a sleep I am up talking on IM. to my friend, who is worried about never seeing his son. only son.

NCo correct...only in he last 2 days has the Iraqi Government claim to be heading off the insurgents..We will have to wait and see

Properly waged, war has a high success rate. We haven't heard anything from Imperial Japan, Nazi Germany or Fascist Italy lately, have we? That's my point.

Wish we could bet money with you Cons. Maybe if we sent 50,000 more troops but 22,000 will make no difference just extend the war. Baghdad has 7 million proplr I think.
