yea all dogs r like that. i have a dog that was like that. wouldn't sleep at all. after awhile it should all start to slow down. also my cousin has a dog that was like that. u would play and u would be tired and u give up and yet he still wants to play. they r like this ball of energy that never quits!!! so yea all dogs r bad at 7 weeks old so don't worry just thinking it's ur dog that is full of energy.

well good luck with ur puppy!!!! :)

maybe he's just misses his mother and his siblings he is only 7 weeks after they're not really ready to leave their mothers and siblings side until 8 weeks unless if your the owner of the mother and his siblings if that is the case maybe just excercise the little guy
or take him to the vet so they can see why he is so hyper
other than all that its a normal puppy thing all puppies are hyper until about a year old but even then some dogs are still hyper at that age
chances are he'll out grow it a little

generally it is recommended that pups stay with theyre mothers until they are 8 weeks old, part of that reason is they learn alot from the mother such as how to play. most puppies are however full of energy but also normally rest at some point too. if he doesnt start to calm down soon maybe call your vet for advice. good luck hope you get some rest too!

there are no crazy dogs just untrained people... you have to show your pup who is head of the pack (you) and learn dog behavior to get that point across. Also remember that puppies do have a lot of energy and that 's just the nature of the beast. So, just like if you had a kid, be a benevolent dictator to your pup.... be nice and be firm. He'll learn the rules, promise!

good luck!

All puppies are exactly like human babies,,,,,they have to be loved, touched, and given certain commands that you as the "parent" expect to see them successfully complete. The main thing is consistantly go over rules reward when they are acomplished......and retrain when the rules a re not followed.

Puppies shouldn't be separated from their siblings and mother before they are 8 weeks old. That extra time is what it takes for the pups to learn proper boundaries. I am sorry that your pup wasn't given that chance.

He isn't bad. He just isn't trained yet. Do some training excercises with him every day and eventually he will become more manageable. It takes time and effort to train a puppy. Also, you should be crate training him to establish discipline, your dominance and help house train him.

Take him to a doggy daycare. He will learn all about how to be a well mannered puppy and give up trying to dominate you so much.

Sound like you dog got hyper all of a sudden. Better have a talk with the vet.
