I taught my son that north dakota was the capital of south dakota and he failed his geography test. Now he is in danger of repeating the 4th grade. I tried to talk with the teacher, but she said she couldn't do anything. I then slept with her. Now she is pregnant. Is this my sons fault for failing his test?

It's South Dakota's fault for every joining the union in the first place. Furthermore, what kind of a name is Dakota? Who would name their daughter "Dakota" let alone two states (nothing against the Fannings). I say this year, we all need to stop and think a little harder. We need to ask ourselves "What have the Dakotas done for us?"

I think you have just blown something out of proportion. Failing one test will not make a child fail a grade no matter who told you this.

Making a child fail a grade is a culmination of many things over an extended period of time. No one person holds back a student. The teacher might instigate the holding back of a student, but there are also parent conferences, advice by a principal, etc.

Sleeping with a teacher to prevent from holding back a student is never a good idea and really doesn't do any good if your school system is credible at all. It is not your child's fault. Only you can choose when you sleep with someone. Tutoring is always available for your child.

How does you sleeping with her have anything to do with this?

It really quite depends on WHY your son failed. I don't know how it is in the US but in Canada no one can fail the 4th grade because of a test.

Personally I don't think you are or should be held at fault. Since you only told him a simple knowledge that you thought to be true which probably wasn't on the te.st.

You should see why he is failing and what he is having trouble and then try to find a way to help him be more active in studying and together help him find his faults in his school work.

Also if you are asking if you should be held responsible for the teacher becoming pregnant. Yes. Your son didn't have anything to do with his teacher becoming pregnant by his father it was your action that caused the pregnancy. (Only mind this paragraph if you think your son should be held at fault for the pregnancy of the teacher).

I hope that helps :D

first off, you slep with her? are you married? because i would hate to be your wife. all of it is your fault, because you told him that the capital of south dakota was north dakota. you shouldn't of let him believe you. also what are you going to do about his teacher? and what are your son's classmates going to say when they find out their teacher is pregnant and you did it?

No, it's the Dakotas' fault. There's no need for two of them and nobody knows what their capitals are.

no, its your fault because north dakota and south dakota are 2 different states and nobody forced you to go and sleep with his teacher.
