Not necessarily. Some people are perfectly happy living an impoverished life. Poverty is relative anyways. Most American poor people have enough to eat, clean water and even cable TV. I know that many people on welfare and in public housing CHOOSE not to work or participate in the economy. They are perfectly happy living off of the miniscule allowance the govt. gives them. I know this because I used to work for HANO a division of HUD. I met thousands of these people and over half are perfectly able to work but choose to the absolute minimum.

Not sure what you mean by "socio-economic fractor", but, yes.
The degree and amount of poverty we have indicates an unjust society and an irrational and inhumane economy.
To the extent that the society and economy are structured to enrich a few beyond all reason, at the expense of the many (most of whom do all the work), it is sick, and just plain wrong.
It makes no sense to treat some people as being "worth" more than millions of other people all put together.
In the US most of the money goes to people who do absolutely nothing productive, to people who buy and sell money.
People who wreck companies are given tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars as a reward, while the people who made the company productive are tossed out in the streets.
That CAN'T be right.

I assume you are speaking of the U.S. economic system. The answer then is, NO. Poverty is just that -- poverty. The economic structure in this country is NOT based on a system that takes from the poor to give to the rich. Money in this country flows everywhere and there is not a limited pool to draw from. The poor have the pontential to make/gather/save just as much money as humanly possible and still leave just as much for the so-called 'rich'. What do you call 'just'? Would you dictate that all wealthy people give up half of their wealth to feed and house the poor? Why? Why not force all poor people to migrate to Mexico? What would be the difference in forcing one set of standards on a segment of society than any other? Being rich does NOT deny anything to a poor person. While we're on the subject, let's define 'poor'. I hardly think a poor American citizen can be placed in the same category as a poor person in Haiti.
People like you need to take a vacation in communist China and see how it's working for them over there.

you're implying that because of the fact a economic gadget fails or does no longer help all its contributors that an injustice has occured. Economics is a balancing act to maintain it afloat. Watch the inventory industry on the better of days. Poverty is a results of an inbalanced economics interior the worst case. on the terrific in econimic circumstances poverty is by human beings refusing to settle for substitute, of their livestyle and pass with the tide. Unjust straightforward does no longer observe to economics concerning to poverty.

No it proves that the governments of the world are failing and not doing their job. They are more interested in money and power and war than helping the people.
Some rich rulers live like kings while their people are literally starving. Mexico is a good example. The middle east is another good example. In fact most governments you see some live with all the comforts and some starving.
Saddam Hussian had many palaces and things and fleets of cars and jets and his people were dieing of starvation in the streets. If they rebelled against his rule he killed them.
He is not so different than a lot of other rich rulers.
Take Bush for example, he has a multimillion dollar mansion in Crawford Texas, Camp David in Maryland and the Whitehouse.
yet some people in Louisianna still don't have a home.
We will always have the haves and the have nots.

There will ALWAYS be some amount of poverty in ANY society regardless of it's economic structure. Poverty exists because some people are just lazy, unmotivated, or unintelligent.

Absolutely not! Work hard and set goals! Never quit or give up! You as a person can choose your poverty level and goals.
