My dog is pretty quiet, rarely barks, just with dogs he wants to play with and the odd time waiting for his meal being prepared. Yet whenever I play harmonica in front of him or even if he hears one playing on the stereo or tv he goes a little nuts. I know you can make a dog howl if you sing in front of them, I'm assuming this is a similar scenario. Just looking for others' experience.

Harmonicas have a higher pitch that dogs can hear. Some don't like it, some do. Great to hear you play, me too!

Well, I don't play harmonica, but I do have chihuahuas that sing. My husband hates it. I start singing and they sing along. Too cute. One of their favorite songs to sing to is "how much is that doggy in the window?" LOL
