about 5 days ago i noticed a small bump in my ear, i thought it was a pimple or something so i washed it with soap and water and it got bigger and bigger. Its not visible because its actually in my earlobe but I can feel it and it hurts if i touch it. Also I can feel a vein like buldge right under my ear which also kinda hurts but you cant see it. Is this something serious?

You know, It's funny you asked that question because I had the same problem yesterday. NO LIES. I started to notice this lump inside my ear and it was painful. I also thought about going to see a doctor, cause you know how sometimes you hear these stories about bugs crawling in your ear, biting you then leaving their eggs. Well I've heard it happen so I became paranoid. But instead of going to a doctor I waited over night and the next day, it broke itself and it turned out to be just a PIMPLE. No big deal. It was sensitive but it pushed the puss out itself and now it's better then ever. So just give it sometime and I bet it will turn out to be the same thing.

It is probably an under the skin zit inside of your ear lobe. Do not put acne medication in your ear, but you could dip a q-tip in hydrogen peroxide and dab it over the bump several times in an evening. It should go away soon.

this sounds really gross...and I apologize if it is...but I was driving one day and I felt this really hard bump/lumb on my earlobe....it was there for like 3 days...I had second earring holes where it was..but hadn't put them in for like 6 years or so...so finally I just sqeezed it...and it was a pimple...what easier way for bacteria to get in your skin with an open hole for an earring...just a thought...

It's just a pimple, it will go away on it's own, nothing to worry about as long as it doesn't look infected.

no, its probably a zit, wash it with olive oil and put neosporin plus pain on it.
