Here is the thing, you did not just add a color to your hair, you actually removed pigment from your own hair and made room for a new color to deposit there. Your natural haircolor is not just simply hiding underneath what you have done. There are color removers out there(such as effasol) but they work like a bleach and most do some damage. You can have your hair colored with a deposit only semi-pemanant or temporary coloring to match you roots more closely so that they are not so noticeable as it grows out. That would be the healthiest way to grow it out. All in all growing it out is what you must do to get back to natural. All permanat color will eventually oxidize even if it matches your roots.

If you went from dark blonde to golden blond that means bleach was involved which took out the colors you already had...the only way to get it back is to recolor to something close to your natural color and wait for it to grow out. What I'd do is put in highlights that are close to my natural color and also some that are a slightly lighter color to help hide the line that will show up as your hair grows out...a professional can do this better than you can at home.

You removed the color from your hair, you cannot "wash out" the permanent hair dye - there's a reason it's called permanent. However, you can fake it by using another box of permanent hair dye with your original color. It's best if you have a professional do this to get the closest possible to the original.
Good luck! And next time, go for one of the temporary ones. ;)

You must wait two weeks after you dyed your hair, then you
can buy a color that matches your natural, or any color you
want and re-dye it. It may be a little dry, so buy a conditioner
while you're in the store but don't put it on right after the
second dye job--because the dye has a good conditioner
in it already. If you can afford it, I suggest having a professional
do it the second time.

I really think there's a way to get permanent hair dye out of your hair for good. You really miss your natural dark blond hair, do you?

There are some products that 'take the dye out" if you went for a darker shade, which you can find at Walgreens. Unfortunately, you cannot 'take the dye out' since you went for a lighter shade than your natural color, and that means the peroxide got your natural pigment out of your hair; what you can try is dye it a darker shade, close to your natural color. i know it can get expensive, but if you really don't like your color you should try seeing a color specialist about it. But since your natural color is light anyway, you shouldn't have any problems fixing your shade on your own. Good luck!

If it has been at least 6 weeks since last you colored choose a color that closely matches your real color (try Loreal Color Match - a line of natural tones) and recolor your hair. It won't be perfect but will fade to your natural color - you will not have to touch up since the goal is to return to natural. Remember to keep your hair well conditioned and take a vitamin that encourages hair strength. Good Luck!

Simple to fix...not like you used black that has to be lifted out. Let your hair grow just long enough to have a bit of your natural color showing at the roots then go to a reputable salon and let them match it. If you don't want to wait...you can try a box color that will match your natural color, but use a semi permanent color...it will be easier on your hair.

No, the only way for it to 'get out' is to let it grow out. Sorry. You can re-dye your hair the same as your natural hair color, but that is a lot of chemicals on your hair.

I don't think so. I've never dyed my hair but when my sister wants to take her permanent hair dye out, she another hair dye but in her natural color. Maybe you should try that. =]
