The phone rings and the lady of the house answers, "Hello."

"Mrs. Ward, please."

"Speaking."

"Mrs. Ward, this is Doctor Jones at the Medical Testing Laboratory. When
your doctor sent your husband's biopsy to the lab yesterday, a biopsy
from another Mr. Ward arrived as well, and we are now uncertain which one is your husband's. Frankly the results are either bad or terrible."

"What do you mean?" Mrs. Ward asks nervously.

"Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer's, and the other one tested positive for AIDS. We can't tell which one is your husband's."

"That's dreadful! Can't you do the test again?" questioned Mrs. Ward.

"Normally we can, but Medicare will only pay for these expensive tests one time."

"Well, what am I supposed to do now?"

"The people at Medicare recommend that you drop your husband off
somewhere in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don't sleep with him."

Considering the destructive nature of the American Medical Association and any medical treatment that is currently covered by Medicare, i am inclined to say no. Believe it or not, the doctors will actually kill you faster and intensify any suffering you experience by treating the symptoms of disease while conveniently over looking the root cause. Anyone with a head on their shoulders that houses a functioning brain should be able to see those butchers for what they are, yet countless Americans come crawling to to these deadly snake oil salesmen everyday throwing their money and their health down the toilet. So before asking if socialized healthcare is beneficial to the populous, we must first ask if the healthcare being provided is beneficial at all. In which case the answer is usually no. Have you considered a Narturopathic doctor? If not, don't dismiss it right away, the human race didn't get to where it is because herbal remedies were "hoo-ha", or whatever the butchers call it. Modern medical practices have only been around a few decades, and countless case studies are revealing their inefficacy, despite what you hear on the news. Of course, naturopathology has had amazing results, which competes with the Healthcare Industry, and since they don't like competition (especially that which makes them pale in comparison) they've dumped plenty of money into demonizing and discrediting natural health, so of course no truly effective health care is covered under Medicare. Socialized or not, the healthcare industry is not really doing any good for the population, but they will do everything they can to convince you that they are acting in your best interest. So, whatever your healthcare needs or opinions, good luck to you. Just don't expect socialized healthcare to have any positive impact on the overall health of American citizens. This is just my personal opinion, you can take it or leave it.
