Black people thought that OJ would get railroaded. Throughout the history of America, it only took an accusation for a black man to be hung. One example is when a black man was walking around the corner of a building and startled a white woman who was standing there. The black man was lynched.

Did you see the movie "Rosewood"? That is a true story of a white woman who was beat up by her white boyfriend. She was married and when her husband saw the bruises, she told him that a black man did it. Every black man in sight was lynched and the whole town was burned to the ground. You should see this movie.

We thought that OJ would be convicted, and he was convicted by the so called "court of public opinion" aka the modern day "Lynch Mob". If this were the 1960's, this so called "court of public opinion" would have hung OJ and every other black person in the community.

When OJ was found not guilty, the black community was pleasantly surprised. We thought for sure that he would be convicted and when he was found "innocent", not just "not guilty" but "INNOCENT", black people were thrilled.

Justice was served.

Simpson's plea in court was
"Absolutely, one hundred percent, not guilty."
A jury after examining the evidence found him "not guilty".
The investigator who "found" the glove was heard on tapes played in court making racist statements about blacks and then lied under oath.
The chief investigator in charge over the entire case admitted in court that he took a vial sample of OJ's blood from the lab and carried it into the crime scenes.
Probably the jury had problems with the credibility of some of the ones with the responsibility of investigating the case.
OJ has always maintained his innocence.

I lived in CA during the trial and I did not know anyone of any race that was happy that Nichole Simpson was murdered.

If OJ did it you would have to ask him why. A jury right or wrong found him not guilty.
