Unfortunately for them, their parents did not instill in them the meaning of abstinence, waiting to have sex, and also birth control if they did have sex. It is very sad that some girls and boys too, are so uneducated in this area, mainly due to the risk of sexually transmitted deseases, WE ALL KNOW ABOUT AIDS!!! and too, pregnancy. What does this do? It uproots a young adult's life. The birth mother has to make a decision on whether she now puts her "potential" future on hold? or, have an abortion, or put the child up for adoption so that the baby will have a better chance at a better future. It also burdens the extended family's. It is sad, yes, but again, it is all about education, and parents talking to their children, and girls having enough self confidence and self worth that they do not feel they need that attention from boys at such an early age.

Parents are not keeping a closer eye on their child and know what they are doing. How are 14 year old children having sex anyways. Goodness gracious when I was 14 I was not allowed to be in a room alone with a boy. I think the parents are to blame for it mostly because they should know what their children are doing and put down more ground rules and pay more attention to their 14 year old kid(s) and maybe this wouldn't happen

Yeah.
I'd say it's beacuse they do not know how to utilize a condom.
I'm happy for most of them because they're happy for themselves. They know what they had coming and they prepared for the pregnancy.
My friend in my 4th period is a sophomore and is about to burst in 2 weeks. She's happy and that made me happy.
My other friend in my 4th period is a senior and is 3 months pregnant. She planned the pregnancy. I thought it was very smart of her to plan her pregnancy.
This chick in my 7th period is due in a month. Her and her boyfriend are getting married. They've been happily together since the 5th grade! [She's a sophomore]
I think I might be pregnant. [I'm a senior and an aspiring doctor] I'm getting married to my boyfriend after he comes outta MARINES boot camp! [YAY!]
Well, I was kinda hoping this could wait, but IT'S A BABY!!! =]]
Many people wish they could reproduce. Be happy for these gals carrying a baby. They knew what they had coming to them. Be jealous a bit.

There are obviously a lot of girls having sex way too soon! And since that is the case, I assume there are a lot of parents who aren't doing their job of keeping their young adolescents under control. Kids this age do not have the control mechanisms matured enough to stay away from sexual activitiy until they are old enough to deal with the consequences. This is why it is so important for kids to have good parents who protect them until they're mature enough to stay away from those things which will be detrimental to their well-being.

Very sad situation...a baby having a baby. Some girls think that sleeping with a guy will make them more popular or make that guy love them and sad sleeping around only shows that you have no respect for yourself and with sleeping around you may become PG or get a STD.
I hope you are not one of these young women that have fallen into being PG, if so best of luck to you and if not then kudos to you for having self respect

At 14 and pregnant, I think it is because they are dumb. they cant think! How can they take care of their baby at 14 whiles cant even take care of themselves. Is like kid having kids. All of this happen because they dont think of the future, too young to think of the future. Theya re hurting themselves as well as their child.

because they ahd sex and made a mistake but they may love that mistake in the future, i wouldn't judge anyone though because they know what they are facing and i'm sure they have heard it from everyone

ignorance and lack of guidance . They think its cool wait till they have a baby in their hands that they have to care for and feed and change dirty diapers they will realize how foolish they are.
