Grape Jam tastes much better ( I think) Grape Jelly is more chunky and globbed together, it looks very prossesed. I think Jam is more natural and spreads nicely. Jelly just chunks onto your sandwich.

Jelly is made from fruit juice. The product is clear and firm enough to hold its shape when turned out of the container. Jam is made from crushed or ground fruit. It tends to hold its shape but is generally less firm than jelly.

as i've read, the difference between jelly and jam is its content...jelly is made from the juice of the fruit while the jam is made fromthe pulp of the fruit(or the crushed fruit)

Jelly is made with fruit that has been strained of the pulp and seeds, and ends up clear. Jam is not strained and has part of the fruit and sometimes the seeds in it.

jam is the raw form of jelly. jelly has gelatin, hence the name "jelly", which makes it into a preserve and it lasts much longer. jam cant be kept for half as long as preserves like jellies.

JELLY IS JUST THAT , IT HAS THE GRAPE JUICE ONLY WHEREAS THE JAM HAS THE SEEDS AND WHATEVER IN IT. I THINK THE JAM IS BETTER REGARDLESS OF WHICH FRUIT IT IS, BLUEBERRY,RASPBERRY,ETC. THE JAM IS PROBABLY SEEDLESS BUT WOULD HAVE THE GROUND SKINS IN IT. TO ME JAM TASTES BETTER.
