can u renew your work permit if you've been denied permanent residency?

If your work permit was granted as a part of an application for permanent residency, unfortunately not. The only way you can renew the permit is if you have a nonimmigrant visa status... Such as H1B, etc. Otherwise you would be violating immigration laws
