Wow Christians what is up with all the fossils in Australia that they just found? I mean 200+ thousand years old...yeah right! We all know that the devil is manipulating the information to make us think the earth is older then the bible clearly tells us it is. Right?

I can hear the rustling bible pages now, as the religionists come up with new ways to denounce this one. Stay tuned.

At least scientists are finally admitting that Carbon Dating is totally inaccurate. I'm actually shocked to hear them say this.
They also have put to rest their previous theories on the beginning of the universe. Theories that they have been holding near and dear for 30 years now. Now their new theory about how the universe began is called "String Theory" Interesting theory, however, it is just that, another theory.
Im glad my faith is in Christ Jesus.
God Bless You....Peace.

many Christians believe in evolution including myself. The creation story is a simple story with a different time frame. I recommend reading the SCIENCE of GOD by Gerald R. Schroeder. It tells how the Bible and Science correlate.

Bible doesn't say how old the earth is. when you trace the lineage back to adam you get around 6k years, but they Bible doesn't say how much time passed from each day of creation. I believe that God created the universe with age already intact. It might seem like 6k years, but they have the life of a bliion year old. Same as with someone with bad bones. They got the body of a 40 year-old, but the bones of a 70 year-old. God created Adam as and adult and not a child, why not the univers also?

Thank god for immigrants and atheists, if we had to depend on Christians for technology this country would be living in the stone age.

They predict the age of the fossils but never really seem to get around to proving it.

I definitely recommend The Rate Project, an 8 year analysis of RadioIsotopes and the age of the earth

there is a DVD of many of the findings in condensed form called Thousands not Billions
from http://www.answersingenesis.org

if we look at C14 in coal accross the geological column and even in cambrain diamonds it is roughtly constant and leans toward a young earth

if we look at the Helium product of Uranium decay, likewise... in zircons... it also leans in the direction of a young earth

hardly something to examine dogmatically or too shallowly
