I practice Centering Prayer.
I also have been drawn to saints like Theresa of Avila, Joan of Arc, Gertrude, etc. since my early youth.
To be one with God....
To embrace true self....
To lose ego.
I am presently reading "Living Gnosis"
It is an interesting book but a bit of a mix of every belief under the sun...so I must sit with it and seek the truth in it.

Thank you all for answering.
Christian Mysticism does exist and has from very early days.
May we all find our True Self.
May we all claim our oneness with God.
God is a consuming fire with which we are one with when we forsake the world and worldly religions/religious leaders
and embrace Truth.
Ultimately the words:"Be still and know
that I Am God" unlocks the door.
Best Wishes.
Love,
Karen

this is the main needed concern. that's what "relationship with God" particularly is... 2 way communique between myself and my Heavenly Father. in seek of the practise of the Holy Spirit (in each and every thing that I do) is how I prepare mysticism in my on a daily basis existence. generally, whilst i'm approximately to take a step, I ask, "Am I doing the appropriate concern?" If i believe peace, then I take that step. If i believe no longer something, then i pass back and re-examine how I ought to act. I additionally meditate as a manner of clearing my strategies so as that i will hear the whisperings of the "the nevertheless small voice" of the Holy Spirit. for each concept that comes, I ask God whether it is authentic, and that i comprehend whether it is authentic by ability of the sentiments of love and peace that accompany a real concept. What a eye-catching question! thank you lots for asking. ?
