Does anyone an Animal Shelter at which I can volunteer (one that's stationed all around the United States).

Volunteer at your local animal shelter or humane society. Any help will be greatly appreciated (especially by the animals). You can also donate old blankets, sheets, towels, collars and leashes... almost all animal shelters are in need of these items. Counties do not set aside enough money for animal shelters - they are always in need of supplies and volunteers.

I think it is wonderful you would like to donate your time to needy animals. Although animals can't talk, you know they appreciate all the selfless acts you do on their behalf.

For all you people saying NO, i think of your thinking approximately how the poor lil animals get killed for no reason. My husband works for animal centers and that i understand what risks there are. How could you experience if a rabid dogs growls and tries to bites you and chases you? Or a feral cat that scratches and bites you till you BLEED. OR the unwell little kittens that are going to have a loooong drawn out death. i'm curious about the killing of those animals by way of fact it makes the common public AND different animals safer! And no I dont accept as true with them killing animals after a week yet that basically happens at FEW animal shelters interior the rustic. What else could you do with the overpopulated animals? they are saying there is 7 dogs for a million human...thats the clarification everyone could spay or neuter their dogs and cats. so as that they dont have un mandatory placed downs.

yes there are. I would google it. I an an animal officer and at the shelter we deal with the most the volunteer's clean up and help us with the animals we bring in. So I would ask and you would not deal with the animals that much.

That is a difficult one. Most shelters are independent. I don't think there is any one organization other than loose affiliations between shelters. You might try volunteering with a breed organization such as the Mastiff Club of America, as the breed organizations are national and have regional directors.

I can't tell you of one all around the US because they tend to be independent.

Try www.petfinder.com go there and look through the list for your state and see which shelter is closest to you.
