I like to mind my own business, but there is a lady in the neighborhood who has somehow ended up with two boxers over the last month. She says that she "found" them at the county dump and the man there gave them to her. (she was wanting to breed them) One of the dogs has now been claimed and I am wondering if the other one doesn't have a family out there that just doesn't know where to look. I find it hard to believe that such a beautiful dog was dropped off at the county dump.....SHOULD I take some pictures of the dog and try to find his family?

A good pet quality dog from a reputable breeder: $800 & up.
A backyard bred genetic gamble from your local paper: $150 & up. And then it will cost you much more in health problems throughout its life, and the breeder will never want to hear any problems from you after the check clears.
Find the reputable breeders through www.akc.org, and your cloesest chapter of the Boxer club. These are the caring, involved breeders working towards breeding quality, healthy dogs.
p.s just read you addition: report her to your humane society! That is generally the first place the frantic owners will be searching for their lost/stolen pet - and they can check it for a microchip!

That depends...This is like asking how much is a Chevy? The price can vary depending on the quality of the boxer.
I wouldn't be surprised to see pups for $750 and up.

A few breeders that I have found on the net are asking anywhere from $400-550ish.

The MAX. would be around $1050 The MIN. would probably be around (if you're lucky) $50.

We paid $400 for our boxer pup...she was offspring to pedigree parents, but she had no papers.
