I have a dull ache in my side right above my hip bone, but it gets worse when i move and walk and stuff. I feel stupid saying anything because my parents won't believe me and they'll just say it's a muscle ache or something. So my question is does appendicitis start out with a dull ache and then get worse, because it's slowly been getting worse. And i've been feeling a little bit sick too, bad headache and feverish. What are the other symptoms? And how do i know it's not lke a muscle spasm or anything?

Your symptoms sound like appendicitis. You need to go to the emergency room immediately. It can be fatal if it is not removed quickly. A doctor needs to examine you.

This sounds like a ruptured appendix. Do NOT fear your parents, acting now will show maturity, save time and $ in hosptial after surgery. Better 2 B safe than sorry.

The first day it ruptures, it's mild, similar feeling to constipation.
the second day, it is more prevalent, similar to the flu.
the third day, painful, dont do situps get punched. it is a distraction.
the fourth day... excruciating

After just recently having my appendix taken out, i know a little something about it. When i first noticed the pain, i was actually walking up and down stairs, and then i had an extreme urge to go to the bathroom. (#2) That was on a thursday... i had cramps in the lower right side of my belly.

At this point, day # 1, it was just annoying

By saturday, they still did not go away. At this point, i was unable to comfortable do physical activites for long amts. of time. it was annoying AND distracting. felt nauseous

On Sunday, i went to the doctors, they did do an exam... which is just him taking your blood pressure, doing rebound checks, and then taking blood tests. if your white cell count is high, then you may have appendicitis. The white cell count will be high if there is an infection. surgery is easy, but done best imediately after the ... uh....prognosis?

a quick thing you can do is lay on your back with your arms on the ground, and your legs straight out. raise your right leg towards your belly, and if u feel pain, u might have appendicitis.

Abdominal pain may be worse when walking or coughing. You may prefer to lie still because sudden movement causes pain.
Other symptoms include:
Fever
Loss of appetite
Nausea
Vomiting
Constipation
Diarrhea
Chills and shaking
