Because there's something attractive about a guy who appears to have a dangerous side to them sometimes?
Because you feel you're not worth having more than that?
Or maybe because you feel you could be the one to change them?
Everyone has different reasons, if yours is any of these, then here's a little advice:
If you find their bad attitudes attractive, remember that danger is never really a good thing long term.
If you think you don't desrve, or can't get someone better than a "jerk" change your way of thinking, cause there's going to plenty of good guys thinking THEY dont deserve YOU.
And lastly, the real bad ones never change, and just aren't worth your time! :)

First, good for you for identifying it. Next, forgive yourself for the mistake of doing it again and again. (I've yet to learn that trick.) Then, the next guy you meet who has similar qualities to the past jerks, give them little tests to see if they're gonna pass. If not, move on.
Hold your head up, though. They're the jerks, not you!
