Okay, I know that usually in the army you get a "dream sheet" of where you would like to have your first duty assignment...
What are some of the best duty assignments in your opinion (or heard about)?
What duty assignments would you reccomend for someone with a medical MOS (operating room specialist)?

Germany was a great tour, and you dont know how much longer that option will be available, there are two hospitals there. Landstuhl un Heidlberg. Both are beautiful.
Stateside, I would recommend Fort Sam Houston. That is a teaching hospital in San Antonio.
Or, the one in DC, but I dont really care for Washington

Right now, the Army will station you, as a brand new Soldier, wherever they need you.
Later, should you make the Army a career and become a noncommissioned officer, you will be able to speak with your branch manager regarding your next assignment.

I don't know about army but in the air force it is a dream to assume you'll ever get something you want. You'll never get to go to any good places, they'll probably just stick you in the first available opening with no thought to your list. Don't put too much effort into it. Good Luck!

I was in the navy for 22 years. I always loved Japan. Camp Zama is fantastic.

It is best to give your self over to the needs of the army, when you complete your time then reenlist for Japan or that classified location or even Australia.

Colorado Springs woulgd be fantastic. It is a wonderful place to live and I live here and traveled many other places.
