I bounced a check in June 2005 and didn't find out about it until September 2006, I know I know I should have known but somehow I missed it. Anyway, I had a court date in October to take care of it but they asked that I come back in November. The date in November came around and we were out of state at my father-in-law's funeral and the date slipped my mind. Now there is a warrent out for my arrest or missing the court date. Is there anyway to get rid of it due to extenuating circumstances?

Just call and make another court date, you probably won't do any jail time they rather you pay what you owe, take proof that you went to a funeral that should help some.
