I have been suffering from post partum depression for the past one year when I gave birth to a baby boy. I couldn't stop thinking about how my husband loves him more than me and how things might be better if he wasn't born at all. Thus, I stayed away from him because I knew that I might do something I will regret for the rest of my life.

Almost instantly I went to a therapist and convince them that I need help. Among other things, I've tried herbal supplements and other book to treat depression but nothing works like the Depression Free Method. So now I'm proud to say I'm one of the happiest mother in the world. My husband loves us both very much and I thank the Lord for the blessing he gave us.

Depression Free Method?

yes do talk to her and you might also try the school councilor. with all the growing and extra work just in school, things can become a bit stressed and some advice is good to ask for. find some answers to your questions in conversations and also look in the library for some reading for teens with very busy lives and for those that feel overwhelmed with every little thing, especially with their peers.
give yourself some big points for being responsible for your own well-being.

It might help to find some articles online or in magazines to show your mom when you talk to her about it. Ask her if she'll let you speak with a doctor about it.

first..is your mom the person you feel most comfortable talking to? if yes, maybe you can start out by asking her if she ever felt really really down and then take it from there.
