The prayers after the fact or while the event was in progress? Do you understand that we are not robots and that since we have a " Free Will" to do as we do, things like this will happen until the battle of Armageddon. Perhaps you might rather ask. Where was God when the prayers of the victims of 9/11 were offered to him? I would believe he was in the same place he was when his son hung from a cross to die for sins he didn't commit. Can you see the parallels

Perhaps God was looking at the bigger picture.
Just as in WWII I believe the United States was sitting passively by watching Europe be overtaken by a madman. (Hitler)
I believe it was Gods will to use the military might He gave this country, to come to the aid of these weaker countries. However the Unites States did not want war. I believe God put it in Japan's
Emperors heart, to attack America in such a way that it would provoke us to enter the war. Perhaps God allowed the attacks on 9-11 to provoke us into this war on terror.
God may sacrifice a few, to save many.
9-11 was not the first attack against the United States.
These attacks and taking of hostages, have been going on since the 1970's
Nations, just like individuals, sometimes need a push from God in order to accomplish His will.
Good Question. God Bless You......Peace.

Why didn't god ans the prayers of holocaust victims?
Why does god allow people to suffer from various horrific illnesses?
etc.
basically, Why does god allow evil to exist?
the answer is: If we didn't know what evil felt like then we couldn't fully appreciate the goodness that also exists.

BUT WHY DO GOOD PEOPLE SOMETIMES SUFFER MORE THAN BAD PEOPLE?

ANS: BEC GOD IS ALL GOOD AND ALL KNOWING AND EVEN THOUGH WE MAY NOT ALWAYS UNDERSTAND HIS WAYS, WE HAVE TO TRUST WHAT HE IS DOING IS FOR THE BEST.

P.S. my condolences to the families of the 9/11 victims. May justice come down quick and hard on those who were responsible.

Just because He didn't say "yes" does not mean that He did not answer someone's prayer. "No" is an answer, is it not? In addition, dying in of itself is nothing to be feared for a Christian. Absent from the body, present with the Lord! When we die, we are instantly in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ! What a great thing for a Christian! Perhaps God simply wanted those who belonged to Him home. Just so you are aware: there WERE survivors. Hope this helps!

2 Corinthians 5:8 NKJV
We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

It was probably there time. Even though it sounds horrible and made peoples lives hell it could possibly be that it happened to bring our country together or change peoples lives in a way that was good like making them stronger or finding something about themselves or there life that helped them or other people. I know if someone I loved had died. I would say I hated god and probably would want to die myself. Whether is was for the good or bad. God cant always do exactly what people say. God or as I believe my higher power. Someone to talk to when I need to talk just so I can feel more hope.

You can't answer this question. It's akin to an Ad Hoc Fallacy. Because though some people died, some were saved. The ones who were saved probably prayed to God but it wasn't why they survived because obviously, He let others die.

The Ad Hoc fallacy is to give an after-the-fact explanation which doesn't apply to other situations. Often this ad hoc explanation will be dressed up to look like an argument. For example, if we assume that God treats all people equally, then the following is an ad hoc explanation:

"I was healed from cancer."

"Praise the Lord, then. He is your healer."

"So, will He heal others who have cancer?"

"Er... The ways of God are mysterious."

God hears and answers only the prayers of those that love Him and obey Him, tho often we dont get exactly what we asked for. If a true Christian was praying for survival during 911, and God just took them home to be with Him, no more sorrow or pain, did He not answer their prayer? Yes. They have ony paradise now. None of the stuff we have on this earth still. Think on this one too. What if you and I are side by side. I pray for rain, and you pray for only sunshine. He is gonna anwer us both, but we are Christians, right? How would He answer? God alone knows best, and He deceides that when we pray. OFten what we pray for , ends up to be something that isnt even good for us. He notonly hears our words, He knows our hearts. and gives us what He knows we need. Those ppl that went to heaven now, arent complaining I assure you. So if they prayed, Oh Lord, let me Live. He did. They now live forever and ever, with HIM.

9/11 purely proved that even for an exploitative, imperial ability like the U.S., the chickens incredibly do often times come dwelling house to roost. As for god, this is fullyyt a daft fairytale that purely the low classification, the uneducated, and the simpleminded nonetheless have confidence.

Maybe He did. G-d cannot be understood though human ways. Maybe alot of people were praying to go to heaven that day. Perhaps alot of the ones that prayed for earthly survival did survive.

There were alot more than 3000 people in those towers!
200 offilce floors (minimum) times 100 people (minimum) is 20,000

In the beginning God completely sustained His creation without blemish. That’s why it was perfect. He held every atom together in a perfect state. He kept the planets in their orbits. He kept animals from tripping and breaking their necks. He did not allow people to suffer and die.
Deuteronomy 8:4 gives us a little glimpse of how things might have been in the original creation. “Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.” God is omnipotent and perfectly capable of sustaining and protecting his creation.
When Adam sinned, however, the Lord cursed the universe. In essence there was a change and along with that change God seemingly took away a little bit of his sustaining power and allowed things like suffering and death into His creation. Now He permits bad things to happen—and this is a reminder that sin has consequences and that the world needs a Savior. Romans 8:22 says, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”

God took pleasure in all of His creation ("http://bible.gospelcom.net/bible?passage=revelation+4:11&version=NKJV"), but He loved people most of all. He allowed the created universe to deteriorate so we would see the consequences of our sin. If we did not see the consequences of our sin, we would never see that we need salvation from our sin, and we would never accept His offer of mercy for our sin. Most people easily recognize that there is a problem in the world. This can be used to show them that there is one who has overcome this problem of death and suffering—Jesus Christ.
