Were state taxes taken out of your paychecks? If you have paystubs that show they were, call your payroll department and tell them, and they should be able to give you a corrected W-2.
If no state taxes were taken out but you live or work in a state with a state income tax, then talk to your payroll department about taking it out for 2007. If you live in a different state than you work in, they might or might not be required to, especially if you work in a state without a state income tax but live in one that has this tax.

There's probably nothing to fix. State tax rates are much lower than the federal rates. Figure your state taxes and see if you owe anything to begin with. If you do, you can ask your employer to withhold additional state tax this year.
Then of course you might live in a state that doesn't have an income tax like FL, TX, NH or a few others.

States generally charge less in taxes then the feds. If you are fairly low income, you may fall under their radar because you aren't making enough to trigger the withholding.
This is especially the case if the job in question is a part time job.

You'll be able to fix it when the State you live in asks for a big check April 15th. But to avoid this in the future, make sure to talk to your employer and ask to adjust your withholdings so next year this won't happen.
