put an ice cube on it or put it in the freezer (if it will fit)
the gum will become hard and not sticky when frozen

A Razor Blade applied at the right angle should remove the gum without scratching the glass.
5-10 degree angle.....

Well what you do is put lots of ice in the glass with cold wayer and then put it in the freezer and after like 5 minutes it should come off, trust me it works.

There is a product called goo-gone. You can purchase at any convenience store or at Walmart. It will remove anything sticky from most hard surfaces, including glass.

use an ice-cube to harden the gum , then you should be able to pick/scrape it off with a non scratching tool :eg > hard plastic fork,knife,spoon
