Is Yellowtail fish a Tuna or a Snapper?

My neighbor has some and she says it is a Tuna. I looked it up in the Thesaurus and it says it is a snapper.

It's a snapper. I live in Florida and we have it all the time.

YellowTAIL=Snapper
YellowFIN=Tuna

Maybe your neighbor was thinking of yellowFIN tuna. Yellowtail, yellowfin, they're both quite fine eating fish.
