Since you're used to 100+ the answer is Yes you'll be cold. Sweaters, sweatshirts, gloves. If you are pulling into Glacier National Bay, it will be around 40. The rest of porting should be between 50 and 60 but sometimes the wind is horrid and that's what will get you cold. Don't pack all warm, t-shirts, etc would be good too, I just don't suggest shorts. have a blast. I had a great time on mine and I will go again in a heartbeat.

You will have pleasant weathre for a part of your trip and in other places it will be cold. I have been to Alaska twice, once on a cruise. The temps in June and July can be in the 70 to 80 range during the day in Anchorage, Fairbanks and a few other cities.

But as you cruise the inside passage it will be chilly outside on deck. So if you plan to sit out dress warmly, like a warmup suit and a light jacket or sweater. When you get near the glaciers it will be cold, like coat, hat and gloves cold. So take gloves and hat and to counter the cold periods layer your clothing. Like shirt, sweater and then jacket over all of that. If you plan to do any tours on the glaciers, like the dog sled ride, dress warmly. Some port stops it will rain so if youhave a waterproof windbreaker, take that and wear a sweater under it.

Well you will have about 18 to 20 hours of daylight at that time of year. Temp. is usually 45F to 70F around Ancorage in the summer, if I remember right. That depends on weather - sun shining or raining. It would be a good idea to pack some warm clothes, but you will not need heavy winter clothing.

You will probably be a little chilly, depending on where you go in AK. Since it'll be mid-summer when you go, I would recommend just backing a windbreaker and/or fleece jacket/pullovers. Also, jeans or capris. You can always contact the travel agency or the cruise director for suggestions on how to pack for your travels. Enjoy your trip and bring lots of film! ;-)
