This is your President's last attempt in trying to secure stability for the factioned country of Iraq.
Let us hope that it works. If not, millions of Suni and Sheite will fillet the throats of each other and drown in their own blood.
From the tone of your question, perhaps you would prefer this outcome instead?

What? He's sending 20,000...Big difference. I think we should send more though. It's not madness, it's logical...More manpower means more work gets done in a shorter period of time...So we'll be able to get the troops out of there quicker, and Iraq will be "tame" quicker...

He's not, he is sending 22000, although it waould be a good idea to send the 120,000. I have ben here for 3yrs and it is NOT getting better----------it is worse now than when it started.

I didn't vote for Bush. I voted Democratuc both times. Iraq is not our problem and our young vital men should not be dying for another country... they aren't fighting our battle.

once again, a liberal without a fact checker. first of all its 20K ...NOT...120k. And its not about taming the country..its about fighting jihad with al qaeda and finally stopping ethnic cleansing as with the kurds is NOT madness, its common sense. People thought the same as you with the jews in ww2 and look what happened...6.5 million...its really sad you stick the the Pelosi diatribe instead of whats right in front of you...Get a fact checker next time ok?

The word is MADNESS.
Its not 120,000. Its 20,000. It has only been mentioned in the news like 5 billion times.

Because he is desperate to salvage this situation and his legacy.

Because he thinks it's our job to police the world, & he doesn't care about our sons & daughters that will be sent to Iraq.
